Are you NYC DOE certified for Bronx public school events?
Yes. Stevie D Entertainment is an official certified vendor of the NYC Department of Education. We meet all insurance, safety, and operational standards for NYC public school events — including Bronx community school district field days, PS and IS carnivals, and large-scale end-of-year celebrations. We provide all required documentation for school administrators.
Can you get a permit to set up at Pelham Bay Park, Van Cortlandt Park, or Bronx parks?
Events using inflatables at NYC Parks require a Special Event Permit from NYC Parks Department. We're experienced with the NYC Parks permit process and can advise you on requirements based on your specific park location and event size. For private events on residential property anywhere in the Bronx, no permit is needed.
Do you offer full carnival packages for large Bronx community events?
Absolutely. We specialize in complete event productions — inflatables, carnival game midways, concession stands (popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, nachos, ice cream), outdoor movie screens, photo booths, and staffed operation. We've run large community events across the Bronx for schools, churches, block associations, and community development organizations.
How far in advance should I book for a Bronx summer event?
Summer in the Bronx is peak season — June through August weekends fill up 3–5 weeks out. School year-end events in late May and June are especially competitive. Block party season from July 4th through Labor Day is our busiest period in the borough. We recommend booking as early as possible. Call us and we'll check your date immediately.
Are you insured for events in New York City?
Yes. Stevie D Entertainment carries full liability insurance for events throughout New York City, New York State, Connecticut, and New Jersey. We provide certificates of insurance for NYC Parks permits, DOE school events, church and community organization events, and any venue or building management team that requires vendor documentation.
Do you speak Spanish and serve the Latin community in the Bronx?
Yes. With over 44% of the Bronx identifying as Hispanic or Latino, we've made it a priority to serve the community well. Spanish-speaking staff are available for communication and event coordination. We regularly handle quinceañeras, communion parties, baptisms, and cultural community celebrations across the Bronx with full sensitivity to the traditions and needs of each event.
